The 5 Petunians

It was a full weekend program. I woke up late afternoon on Saturday. I was invited to indulge myself at Raku Zen located at Plaza Damas. This Japanese Restaurant has been fully booked all time and no seat will be given unless reservation has been made earlier. There is no rule as first come first serve basis. The decoration and the environment is Zen based. Still I prefer Sushigroove which is located at 1 Utama and Sakai Sushi at Subang Parade and The Curve(the corner lot spot with transparent glasses) along The Street. Sushi served with hot silver foil were really tempting my appetite and desperate for more sushi. Most importantly is my favorite soft shell crab roll was crunchy…..akaka….wrapped with salty seaweed. I forgot to bring my camera along….. aiks.

At night, I was invited to KPMG partner’s open house at Mutiara Damansara for CNY open hse dinner catering. My luck was bad till I lost many rounds in gambling. All thanks to the Banker who has wan all our money. Of course there was a free flow of red wine. I was a little drunken that night and that indicates that my blood circulation is good. I managed to drive home safely. Pity me; I had a terrible headache when I reached home till I overslept for church service the next morning.

On Sunday late afternoon, I had my old classmates gathering at Marche, The Curve. It was a memorable day glancing back our old times years ago. We chatted most of the time and I almost forgot to eat my breakfast and lunch. Err…when I woke up, I was already late for that gathering. I went out without my breakfast but I did savor some fish balls mummy steamed before she left the house that morning. For viewing pleasure, these are the photos captured.

My mom accompanied and shared my success. Thats the ACCA Director who presented me my certificate. I had my ACCA silver made thumbdrive as a token of appreciation.

Charles...if you ever read this blog. Post up your success as well.

What a wonderful marriage proposal during this Valentine's Day. She must be speechless when she saw the billboard adverstisement. Some says it must be the most romantic wedding proposal and some says it has just spoilt the market advertisement. The boyfriend declared publicly his intention to marry her!!!!This is just so sweet. If that happens to me,I may give my boyfriend a big slap. I would rather spend that 40K on my honeymoon.

My Valentine Date

This is what i got from my date as my Valentine gifts right after dinner at 1U when i reached my house gate yesterday night. What a surprise...:)Thanks Sam if u ever come over this blog.
The love strawberries
As usual, all restaurants were fully accomodated and people were queueing for more than an hour to be seated. We picked a Japanese Restaurant( the name is secret) and I was very surprised with the way they entertained us. We were asked multi questions such as;"Where do you want to sit?A quiet area or with the crowd? If its with the crowd, do you want to face each other or next to each other? Do you mind if other ppl sitting next to you?"Err..............

1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape!
1. Thank you for reading this.

Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight....

My Miserable Day

CNY break was awesome for me. Fireworks lighted the place we gathered. Besides loads of red packets collected on the 1st and 2nd day, I did manage to catch up some juiciest gossips from friends both high school and college.:) On the 3rd day, I traveled outstation to Malacca for a day trip. We started our journey early in the morning down the country using the Cheras-Seremban highway. The moment we reached Malacca State, we were lost nowhere searching for the Malacca City for about an hour. All thanks to Cheeseburger, he managed to lead us there successfully. Our concentration was Jonker Street alone. All 3 chicken rice balls restaurants were packed like sardines and we queued for 30 minutes for our turn. Having only few hours roaming around the city was short. Although time was rushing, still I was able to buy some stuffs to pamper myself.

My laptop was spoilt for days since CNY eve until it was fixed today. After having a great refreshing week, I was back to work yesterday. Unfortunately, while I sent my laptop for fixing, electricity was out. We experienced blackout for a day. The whole building was pitched dark and we were unable to switch on our laptops since there was no electricity generator around. Another hectic day for me. This morning as I reached office, I was hoping to get back to my working mood. Once again, there was no electricity still. My mood went down feeling depressed knowing that you will surely day dream for another full working day.

Crazy superb delicious cupcakes

I have become a loyal fan for cupcakes lately. And my best flavoured cupcakes is chocolate moist cupcakes. The cupcakes make me feel delightful and tantalizes your tastebuds. It is exactly a perfect gift for your family and friends to usher any festive seasons and special ocassions. For me cupcakes are little cakes of the world. They just satisfy your cake lust and they are not enough to weigh you up. For cupcakes lover, there is this place called "cupcakeChic" located two doors away from The Secret Recipe at The Curve. They sell varieties like cupcakes and cupcakes biscotti. Biscottis are made from cupcakes waste which are not possible made for sale. Cupcakes are best served with coffee, tea, milk or even on its own. Another recommendation is pretty frosting cupcakes located at the loyer foyer of Amcorp Mall near Taman Jaya lrt station. For more info, log to http://www.prettyfrosting.com. For girls, if your mood is bad lately, trust me savouring cupcakes bring you relief.:)It works for me. Just cupcakes.

Hopeless ends

When it gets its start in the mist and ends up in the dark, when no one finds comfort in whatever you do. That is hopeless. Then i observed my surroundings and motivated by envy. In a while i realised the truth in Ecclesiastes 5. There is still hope in a hopeless deed. That God is in charge in everthing and not us.
"Hopeless" is a negative word, and thus these wonderful people are just simply romantic, there is nothing hopeless about them. Simply put, you are either "hopeless" or you are "romantic". Hopeless romantic is just an insult, calling caring and loving people hopeless.

Bastille Day

A day free from work that one may spend on leisure, especially a day specially customed for you. Everyday you will receive emails with the word of the day. This is the very day i can hardly find to loiter around with my best buddy. We started early in the morning down the trip to Bukit Bintang and Lot 10 where we travelled along the street and sipped my favourite Starbucks toffee nut latte. The merchandise cups that are shown were only available during xmas last year. We then indulged to the Pavilion where my favourite Jco donuts is located. They open a new branch in Sunway Pyramid new wing. The donuts are not that pricy and affordable. There was the Blue Ribbon Star Campaign for the purpose of charity held. My company was giving free tickets for that charity dinner and i regretted i didn't ask for few. I truly missed my opportunity to look closely to my Monday. Finally we went to klcc. It was almost closed and we managed to have our supper nearby. Just some displayed pictures for viewing pleasure.:)
