I was waiting for transport after work at the KPMG tower. Guess what, a couple of minutes later, I was approached by a stranger, a cute and good looking lad offering some of free tickets to me and my frens. Without any further hesitation of course, I took it because its free for 4 ppl seats at TGV 1 Utama and Cathay Cineplex.

Being green to save the world

The world is facing the largest danger soon when the homosapiens vanish bit by bit. Human activity has been increasing the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere (mostly carbon dioxide from combustion of coal, oil, and gas; plus a few other trace gases). There is no scientific debate on this point. However, we can feel that the climate is warming. The public's awareness about Global Warming is extremely high. How can we cope with this issue? We as the citizens must play our own role. You don't have to share the same bath water to make a difference. If we are given only 365 days to save the world, what would you possible do to change the world?There are some easy ways to save the world.

a) Communicate with public transport, bike and walking. This saves a lot of fossil fuels overtime.

b)Use less energy at home. Tuunneccrn essary electricity off when you are not using it. Using less energy will contribute less to global warming. Use less energy means your power bill is lower. Therefor, you can save more in the long run.

c)Say no to plactic bags. Bags kill 100,000 birds, whales, seals and turtles every year.

d)Be water-wise. Always check that you have turned taps off properly: a dripping tap loses about two drops a second, which is around 90 litres a week.

e)Think before you bin anything. Use your local council's recycling scheme to dispose of paper, glass and plastics: if they don't collect from your home,make it an effort to find your nearest recycling facility. And remember, it's not just the obvious items that can be reused. Recycle and make the right choice to save the world.

f) Start now. What are you waiting for. Even every bit does help.

Massive Protest at KLCC

The fact is, the fuel price increment, together with the latest electricity tariff hike left most Malaysians in hot spot mood.While some complained, some voiced their anger through new channel of communications and some remain hiatus mood, a few of us took dissatisfaction to the road, what’s more when it’s going to be done under the shadow of Petronas Twin Towers (PTT)? To all Malaysians who are sick of the RM2.70/litre fuel price and do not know about this rally. Please check out Geramm. They are trying to gather 1 million protesters at KLCC on July 5. Well, do come participate in this rally if you want to feel the adrenalin rush as this is going to be part of Malaysia's first ever record breaking biggest political rally in Malaysia's history. The 1 Million ppl rally is roganized by the Aniti Fuel Hike Protest. The Pakatan Rakyat will gather 1 million ppl to rally.

Save our tree..go for GREEN

Is the world coming to the end?Many people are pondering this question now. We are very uncertain what will happen when all resources are lacking. What are we going to depend on to be sustainable on this earth. The north pole is melting and the sea level is rising. People fear that their lives may come to the end. What can we do to be sustainable? What are our contributions to slower down the process? We can choose to go Green. And my slogan is ready,set,green to eco-living.
