NANTA Musical Play

In my lifetime, I have ever favour musical play live. I recalled when I was in high school. I was treated with The Cats Musical play held at Istana Budaya. Thats my best birthday gift ever gifted to me. Why????Because it simply costs RM300++ for an exclusive seat at 2nd tier. Don't get me wrong that am money minded. (clear throat**)

I have recently attended one musical play organized by the Korean Tourism entitled Nanta, the popular Korean non verbal play favored by tourists nationwide.

The preview lasted only for 2 days which was on the 24th & 25th July priced at RM180, RM140, RM110 and RM70. Follow the synopsis as below :-

In a kitchen, three Chefs (Head Chef, Sexy Chef and Hot Sauce) are preparing to cook for the day when their ill-natured Manager dropped a bombshell: cook for an unplanned wedding banquet which must be ready by 6pm AND teach his young and bumbling Nephew how to cook.

What unfolds in next 90 minutes is an amazing display of story-telling of the three Chefs (with the Nephew getting in the way) racing against time to prepare for the banquet. Things that can go wrong will go wrong and the Chefs (and the Nephew) have to put things right for the Banquet. They slice through the air (using sharp knives), beat chopping boards while rhythmically cutting up vegetables and perform impossible acrobatic manoeuvres.
